For those of you that think I am a super-organized, perfect teacher that has it all together all of the time (my teamates would crack up at that thought), take a look at a picture of my teacher table...taken 5 minutes ago.
Those are live ladybugs sitting on top of conference papers on top of our all-about books on top of science journals waiting to be graded. I think my badge is on there somewhere. Don't know for sure. Haven't seen it in a few hours. It's been one of those days weeks.
I will not go home until it is cleaned off. I will not go home until it is cleaned off. I will not go home until it is cleaned off. ..
I needed to see this today and know that I am not the only one who has this problem!!!
I did clean my desk this afternoon but left school hoping no one looks near my computer...or under the desk...or in that pile by the filing cabinet...or anywhere else! LOL

The sign of an excellent teacher IS a messy work area! We are too busy being creative and planning awesome lessons for our students, not to mention tying shoes, putting on band-aids, filling out forms...you get the picture. My desk is always covered with neatish piles of papers and books. Then there is the prep table and all of the closets and such. Ugh!
I hope you get it cleaned off and made it home to relax!

That is how my table looks when the kids are in the room. It is the first table I clean when they leave. :)
