I needed to see this today and know that I am not the only one who has this problem!!!
I did clean my desk this afternoon but left school hoping no one looks near my computer...or under the desk...or in that pile by the filing cabinet...or anywhere else! LOL

The sign of an excellent teacher IS a messy work area! We are too busy being creative and planning awesome lessons for our students, not to mention tying shoes, putting on band-aids, filling out forms...you get the picture. My desk is always covered with neatish piles of papers and books. Then there is the prep table and all of the closets and such. Ugh!
I hope you get it cleaned off and made it home to relax!

That is how my table looks when the kids are in the room. It is the first table I clean when they leave. :)

My desk is worse. To tell you that I lost my camera and couldnt find it for a couple of weeks and one day I noticed this little fruit flies all over a corner. Found the camera and a black banana talk about yuck. Camera got ruined.I am exploring new blogs I made a bilingual blog with free ideas and songs in Spanish at http://maestranieves.blogspot.com/
