I went to Target to get toilet paper today...

And they were putting the back-to-school stuff out in the Dollar Spot.

Color me giddy!

They were just starting...there were so many unopened boxes. I'm dying to know what was in them. But the kid doing the stocking wouldn't let me open them. I'm just kidding. I didn't ask. But I really, really wanted to. Looks like I'll be making another trip to Target tonight. But here's what I did score...

These adorable little pails with chalkboard paint on them.

This owl bulletin board. How cute. It was actually $2.50. Still a bargain. I'm gonna paint his little glasses turquoise blue.

And this little bulletin board. (Also $2.50).
 

And my FAVORITE! These little ceramin owl vases. ($2.50). One for home and one for school. I'm gonna keep pencils in them.

And as long as I was spending money...(These things were NOT in the dollar spot)...

These adorable notebooks and folders. Somehow, these are going to be the inspiration for the decor in my new classroom.

And a new planner. I love new planners!

And a new watch (because I need one with a green face).

And guess what? I forgot the toilet paper. Do you see why I need to sell stuff on TPT?

Shhhh... I have a secret.

A Lazy Day...

It was a dreary, rainy day in Central Texas. I meant to go to school, but somehow I found myself on the couch, eating Oreos and watching old episodes of 30 Rock. Since I wasn't in the mood to do anything else today, I shopped. I need a new lunchbox (the bottom fell off my old one). Here are some cute ones from Etsy. And some cute little baggies, because I go through Ziplocks like it's nobody's business. And--who doesn't need an  apple cozy?? Tomorrow, I plan on getting off the couch and accomplishing something. (I have big strong men coming to help me move furniture).
